Shelly 3EM provides you with real-time information about the efficiency of your solar and wind energy system as well as historical data about how much energy was generated and consumed. This helps you to control the flow of energy and get the best out of your solar modules and wind turbines. To go one step further, connect a consumer to the Shelly 3EM so that you cannot automatically switch off devices in your home and save energy.

The professional 3-phase energy counter Shelly 3EM can calculate the 2-way consumption: produced and consumed energy for each of the three phases. The device can be configured in such a way that it measures three separate points of a single -phase electrical system and measures each of these points separately.

The Shelly 3EM is a 3-phase energy meter of the per phase up to 120 A via power converter terminals. The measurement of three individual phases is also possible. It distinguishes and recognizes energy and energy feeding on the network. The measurement data are shown in the app, the optionally activated cloud and the web interface in clear graphics. (App and Cloud do not affect the Tasota variant). The Tasmota variant shows the measured values ​​of the individual channels in the webgui. In addition, MQTT can be activated to register it on a corresponding MQTT brocker. It is calibrated together with the included clamps in the factory with which an accuracy of over 99% is achieved. In addition, it has a switch contact which a relay can be controlled, for example.

Energy costs: The installation takes place in the fuse box on the DIN rail. The measured values ​​are displayed in real time. It is also possible to have the energy costs calculated. (Does not affect the Tasota variant).

Functional overview: The Shelly 3EM can be controlled in the unslashed variant via the Shelly app, the optionally activated cloud but also via MQTT and REST API. At Tasmota, the interfaces MQTT, HTTP, serial and webgui are available. Energy consumption thresholds can be set when the Shelly 3EM is reached via relay contact, for example, switches off the current. Control after time or after sunbathing and fall is also possible.

For solar and wind energy: In addition to measuring energy train, the energy fed into the network can also be measured. The Shelly 3EM automatically recognizes how much energy is related and how much fed up and shows this in the webgui clearly.

Export function: The measurement data is saved in the cloud for 365 days. The data is also written to a CSV file in 5 minutes intervals, which can be exported by the Shelly 3EM. (Does not affect the Tasota variant).

For developers: The Shelly 3EM has a programming and debug header that can be used to flash alternative firmware. An ESP8266 with 4 MB flash is installed. It can be integrated into various SmartHome system: Home Assistant, Hubitat, Openhab, Domoticz, Rest API, MQttt, ioBroker, Nymea and Homeseer
