Article description:
openDTU / AhoyDTU DIY Kit
This DIY kit is suitable for reading out the data from a Hoymiles inverter.
Communication with the Hoymiles inverters takes place via 2.4GHz radio. It is possible to retrieve the current values such as power, current and daily energy. Setting parameters such as the performance limit via web interface or MQTT.
The following Hoymiles inverters are currently supported by OpenDTU with the NRF24L01+ radio module: HM-300-1T, HM-350-1T, HM-400-1T, HM-600-2T, HM-700-2T, HM-800-2T, HM-1000-4T, HM-1200-4T, HM-1500-4T
Other inverters supported by OpenDTU: Solenso SOL-H350, Solenso SOL-H400, Solenso SOL-H800, TSUN TSOL-M350*, TSUN TSOL-M800*, TSUN TSOL-M1600*, E-Star HERF-800, E-Star HERF-1600, E-Star HERF-1800
*Note about TSUN compatibility: Compatibility with OpenDTU is most likely related to the inverter serial number. Current evidence suggests that TSUN inverters with a serial number starting with "11" are supported, while inverters with a serial number starting with "10" are not supported.
The included OLED display impresses with its high display quality. With a size of approx. 2.44cm, it has a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels. This means that texts and graphics are displayed with a high level of detail and sharpness.
With the I2C connection you can easily integrate the display into your DIY projects. Fully compatible with Arduino, 51 series, MSP430 series, STM32/2, CSR IC, etc.
