The SONOFF AirGuard TH SNZB-02DR2 is a smart Zigbee 3.0 temperature and humidity sensor featuring an especially large 3.6-inch LCD display. The clear screen shows the current temperature and humidity as well as the minimum and maximum values from the last 24 hours.

When used with a compatible Zigbee gateway, the measured values can also be monitored remotely, analysed and used for smart home automations via the eWeLink app. This allows devices such as air conditioners, humidifiers, fans or other equipment to be controlled automatically based on temperature and humidity.

A special feature of the AirGuard TH is the Remote Temperature Display function. In Zigbee mode, the sensor can additionally display the temperature measured by another compatible SONOFF sensor connected to the same SONOFF Zigbee gateway. This makes it possible to monitor, for example, indoor and outdoor temperatures or the temperature in two different rooms simultaneously on one display.

The sensor offers extensive options for analysing climate data. Historical values from a period of up to 6 months can be viewed in the eWeLink app. In addition to minimum, maximum and average values, the app also provides dew point and VPD charts.

Data reporting can be adjusted flexibly. Temperature and humidity values can be transmitted based on defined changes or according to a set time interval. When values change, the standard reporting interval is 5 seconds and can be adjusted up to one hour depending on the selected settings.

Alternatively, the AirGuard TH can also be used without a Zigbee gateway in Proximity Mode. In this mode, the device connects directly to a smartphone through the eWeLink app while within wireless range. Switching between Zigbee mode and Proximity Mode resets the device to factory settings.

Large 3.6-Inch LCD Display: Current temperature and humidity values as well as the minimum and maximum values from the last 24 hours can be read directly and clearly from the display.

Display Data from a Second Sensor: In Zigbee mode, readings from another compatible SONOFF sensor connected to the same SONOFF Zigbee gateway can also be displayed.

Extensive Historical Data: Historical readings as well as minimum, maximum and average charts for a period of up to 6 months are available through the eWeLink app.

Dew Point and VPD Analysis: Additional charts provide more detailed information about the indoor climate and are suitable for living areas, greenhouses or other environments with specific temperature and humidity requirements.

Flexible Data Reporting: Reporting can be configured based on temperature and humidity changes or according to a defined time interval.

Calibratable Readings: Sensor values can be adjusted and comfort zones can be defined to adapt monitoring to the respective environment.

Smart Home Automations: When connected to a compatible Zigbee system, other devices can be switched automatically based on temperature or humidity.

Home Assistant Compatible: The sensor can be integrated into Home Assistant via compatible Zigbee coordinators and used with ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT.

A compatible Zigbee bridge or Zigbee coordinator is required for full Zigbee functionality. Compatible devices include the SONOFF ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost and compatible Zigbee USB dongles.

Note regarding Home Assistant: Integration is possible via ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT. Depending on the current software version, use with ZHA may require an additional SONOFF guide or script.
