Door & Window Monitoring: The SNZB-04PR2 reliably detects whether doors or windows are open or closed. Use the sensor, for example, to automatically switch on lights, trigger alarms, start camera recordings or send app notifications.

Tamper Alert: The integrated tamper detection provides additional security. If the sensor is forcibly removed or manipulated, a notification can be sent immediately or a smart home automation can be triggered.

Up to 3 Years Battery Life: The sensor is powered by two standard AAA batteries and offers a battery life of up to 3 years. This makes battery replacement particularly easy and cost-effective.

Flexible Installation: Thanks to the improved design, the magnet can be installed horizontally or vertically. The detection distance is up to 30 mm with horizontal installation and up to 15 mm with vertical installation. This also makes the sensor suitable for wide gaps, narrow frames and doors or windows with height differences.

Zigbee Compatibility: The SNZB-04PR2 can be integrated into compatible Zigbee systems and combined with other smart home devices. This allows lights, alarm systems, cameras or heating controls to react automatically when a door is opened or closed.

Home Assistant Compatibility: Support for Home Assistant via ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT. The integration allows you to use the door/window status for individual automations and smart home scenarios. *An additional script is currently still required for integration via ZHA.

Save Energy with Automations: Use the open or closed status of doors and windows as an intelligent trigger. For example, if a window remains open for a specified period of time, heating or air-conditioning devices can be switched off automatically.

The SONOFF SenseGuard DW Gen2 SNZB-04PR2 is a compact next-generation Zigbee door and window sensor. It reliably monitors the open and closed status and can use this information as a trigger for a wide range of smart home automations.

When a door or window is opened, lights can be switched on automatically, audible and visual alarms can be triggered or camera recordings can be started. Notifications can also be sent so that you remain informed about changes to the sensor status.

The integrated tamper detection provides additional security. If an attempt is made to remove or manipulate the sensor without authorization, the SNZB-04PR2 can immediately issue a corresponding alert and trigger further automations.

Compared with conventional door and window sensors, the SNZB-04PR2 offers particularly flexible installation options. The magnet can be mounted horizontally or vertically and can also be positioned separately where space is limited. The detection distance is up to 30 mm with horizontal installation and up to 15 mm with vertical installation.

This makes the sensor suitable not only for conventional doors and windows, but also for many other applications such as drawers, cabinets, refrigerators, safes, child safety gates or pet doors.

The SNZB-04PR2 is powered by two standard AAA batteries. These provide a battery life of up to 3 years and are particularly easy and cost-effective to replace compared with special coin cell batteries.

Integration into open smart home platforms is also possible. With a compatible Zigbee coordinator, the sensor can be integrated into Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT and used for individual automations. An additional script is currently still required for use with ZHA.

Note: A compatible Zigbee hub, Zigbee bridge or Zigbee coordinator is required for use via Zigbee.
