Article description:

Zigbee Pro 3.0 WiFi Bridge

Already flashed with the latest Tasmota firmware.

SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Pro is the updated Zigbee bridge that allows you to manage up to 128 sub-devices with larger capacity and stability, plug devices can act as Zigbee routers to expand the network range.

SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Pro offers newly added features such as smart home security, local smart scene and easy arm and disarm. You can customize 3 modes by Setting different arming devices. The local smart scene always works well, even if the Wi-Fi connection is lost. Thanks to the built-in high-precision local RTC, a short power outage will not affect time synchronization. The schedule may work again after power is restored. Note that the local scene is only suitable for Zigbee devices and only works with the eWeLink variant.

It allows you to manage a variety of ZigBee devices and sensors for home monitoring and control purposes.

The bridge can be connected to smart switches, temperature and humidity sensors, motion sensors, wireless door/window sensors and water sensors certified by the ZigBee Alliance.

Zigbee variants

Choose between the Home Assistant (TCP) variant for ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT or Zigbee2Tasmota (MQTT).

Home Assistant (TCP)

This variant creates a TCP bridge from the Zigbee module to the Home Assistant. In this case, Tasmota only forwards all messages from the Zigbee module to the ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. You cannot use Zigbee commands in the Tasmota console in this mode. All Settings must be made via Home Assistant's ZHA/Zigbee2MQTT integration.

ZigBee2Tasmota (MQTT)

This variant communicates with your MQTT-compatible home automation system via the MQTT protocol. The devices are Set up directly via the console in the WebGUI. This allows for greater flexibility and control over your devices, making it easier to manage and configure as needed.

Both variants use the same firmware and only differ in the pre-configuration. You can switch between the different modes at any time. All that is required is a change to the template Setting and a rule.

NOTE: The ZB Bridge-P can directly connect 26 sub-devices (10 end devices + 16 routers, or 26 routers). If you want to connect to 128 sub-devices, routers (socket devices) are required. A router device can be expanded to connect 20-32 sub-devices
