Article description:
ZigBee Pro 3.0 WiFi Bridge
Already flashed with the latest Tasmota firmware.
Sonoff ZigBee Bridge Pro is the updated ZigBee-Bridge, which enables you to manage up to 128 tubes with greater capacity and stability, connector devices can act as a ZigBee router to expand the network area.
Sonoff ZigBee Bridge Pro offers newly added functions such as smart home security, local smart scene and easy to activate and deactivate. You can adapt 3 modes by adjusting different subsequent ties. The local smart scene always works well, even if the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted. Thanks to the built -in high -precision of local RTC, a short power failure will not affect the time synchronization. The schedule can work again after the power supply has been restored. Note that the local scene is only suitable for ZigBee devices and only works with the Ewelink variant.
It enables you to manage a variety of ZigBee devices and sensors for surveillance and control purposes of the house.
The bridge can be connected to intelligent switches, temperature and humidity sensors, motion sensors, wireless door/window sensors and water sensors that are certified by the ZigBee Alliance.
Zigbee variants
Choose between the Home Assistant (TCP) variant for ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT or Zigbee2Tasmota (MQTT).
Home Assistant (TCP)
This variant creates a TCP bridge from the Zigbee module to Home Assistant. In this case, Tasmota only forwards all messages from the Zigbee module to ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. You cannot use Zigbee commands in the Tasmota console in this mode. All settings must be configured through the ZHA/Zigbee2MQTT integration in Home Assistant.
ZigBee2Tasmota (MQTT)
This variant communicates via the MQTT protocol with your MQTT-compatible home automation system. Device setup is done directly through the console in the web GUI.
Both options use the same firmware and only differ in their pre-configuration. Switching between the different modes is possible at any time; you only need to change the template settings and a rule. For switching between TCP and MQTT, only adjustments to the template settings and a rule are necessary.
Note: The Bridge-P, for example, can connect 26 subsequent devices directly (10 end devices + 16 routers, or 26 routers). If you want to establish a connection to 128 submerces, routers (socket devices) are required. A router device can be expanded to connect 20-32 sauce.
