Dual LED WiFi Controller with Remote Control

Optionally pre-flashed with the latest WLED, WLED Sound Reactive (SR), or Tasmota firmware.

This small and compact controller allows you to precisely control your WS2811, WS2812, WS2815, or SK6812 LED strips.

The LED controller can control three color channels (red, green, blue).

Two LED strips can be connected to the dual output.

Important note:

If you want to integrate the controller into Home Assistant, please choose the standard WLED version.

While the Sound-Reactive firmware offers audio reactivity, it is technically outdated and no longer compatible with newer Home Assistant integrations.

Firmware Variants and Compatibility

Three firmware variants are currently available for the SP511 controller:

• Tasmota – Universal, MQTT-enabled, and fully Home Assistant compatible
• WLED - HA compatible – Current stable version with full Home Assistant integration and a wide selection of effects
• WLED - Sound Reactive (SR) – Latest version 0.13.0-b3_sp511e, supports the built-in microphone, but not Home Assistant compatible and no longer further developed

The WLED and WLED SR firmware is available in English only

Communication is via JSON, HTTP, UDP, or MQTT (JSON preferred).

For integration with Home Assistant, only the WLED (Standard) or Tasmota variants should be used.

Note:

The required voltage depends on the LED strips used. For example, do not use a DC12V power supply for DC5V WS2812B strips.

In the Tasmota version, the following buttons on the remote control are pre-programmed via rules: Power, Main Colors, and Dimming Function. All other buttons can be freely assigned additional functions. This also applies to the two additional buttons on the LED controller.
