Article description:
4-channel DIN rail relay switch with power measurement, Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth connection
Already flashed with the latest Tasmota firmware.
The Shelly Pro 4PM is a single phase 4 channel relay that supports up to 16A per channel with a total device capacity of 40A. The Shelly Pro 4PM is equipped with four integrated precision power meters to control and monitor consumption for each channel separately. Equipped with LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, it enables a safer and more reliable connection. Use scripting functions to Set custom automation scenarios based on various events, weather forecasts, wind forecasts, etc.
THE BEST SOLUTION FOR NEW BUILDINGS
The Shelly Pro-Line enables complete intelligent automation from the control cabinet. This makes them the perfect solution for new buildings and production facilities, which you can plan and adapt individually to your needs. Meanwhile, the precise consumption measurement of the PM devices informs you about the power consumption of each connected device. This way you can analyze the data reliably and reduce consumption costs.
LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Simultaneous Wi-Fi and LAN use. Quickly and easily add devices via Bluetooth connection.
Can be mounted on DIN rail. Enables intelligent automation directly from the fuse box. Manage and control your system no matter where you are.
Protection, overload and overvoltage protection - protection of the load.
Shelly Pro Line devices can be operated directly and without a hub via your smartphone using the Shelly Cloud app.
Improved security features
Overheat protection - In the event of too high a temperature or a rapid rise in temperature, the device will turn off the outputs and send a notification. The internal temperature sensor measures heat every 100 ms.
Overload protection - If overload is detected, the device switches off the outputs and sends an immediate notification. The surge protection function protects the device and other electrical devices from possible damage.
Surge protection - Voltage surges can be dangerous for electrical devices and machines. To prevent damage to the electrical devices, the device switches off the outputs when surge voltages are detected and sends a notification immediately.
Flame retardant - all Shelly Pro components are made from flame retardant materials and maintain their construction even when exposed to high heat.
Other features
HTTP/HTTPS WEBHOOKS for fast connection - Enhanced with HTTP/HTTPs webhooks, the Shelly Pro line can easily connect, notify or control other compatible devices or third-party automation system.
Smart sequences (scenes) according to sunrise/sunSet - Shelly Pro Line can switch the power on and off depending on sunSet or sunrise, making it perfect for dynamic control of electrical devices.
Custom automation with weekly scheduling - Shelly Pro Line allows you to Set up to 50 actions based on your daily or weekly schedule without the need for an external hub or server
Scripting for Custom Automation - The Shelly Pro line fully supports mjS scripting, allowing customers to create their own features and functionality! Multiple scripts can be executed together.
Note about Tasmota firmware:
The display of the Shelly Pro4PM is supported by the tasmota32-lvergleich firmware. LVGL (Light and Versatile Graphics Library) is the next generation of Tasmota displays. It is powerful, lightweight and easy to use.
It combines:
LVGL's powerful graphics and GUI library for embedded systems
Tasmota's stability, functional diversity and resource conservation
Berry's powerful MicroPython-like language
LVGL is an open source graphics library that provides everything you need to create an embedded graphical user interface with easy-to-use graphical elements, beautiful visual effects, and low memory footprint.
Further information and documentation can be found here:
https://tasmota.github.io/docs/LVGL/
The LVGL library is already fully included in the firmware. The following data is visible on the display. Time, switching status of the individual channels and the current consumption in watts. The display can be completely switched on and off. The physical buttons switch the first 3 channels.
It is up to you to design the display according to your individual wishes. Programming knowledge is required.
