SMLIGHT PoE Splitter 100Mb – Ethernet + USB-C

The SMLIGHT PoE Splitter 100Mb allows devices without native PoE support to be powered through an Ethernet cable. The splitter separates the PoE signal transmitted through the network cable into a 5V power supply via USB-C and a separate 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection.

This makes it possible to transmit power and network data through a single Ethernet cable to the installation location. It is particularly useful for smart home and IoT devices where no separate power outlet is available.

The PoE splitter supports the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards and is suitable for use with compatible PoE switches and PoE injectors. Automatic PoE detection ensures that power is only activated when a suitable PoE source is detected.

Note: The splitter provides a 5V DC output via USB-C. Before connecting a device, please make sure that it is suitable for 5V power input via USB-C.

How It Works:

A compatible PoE switch or PoE injector transmits network data and power together through the Ethernet cable. The SMLIGHT PoE Splitter separates both signals again at the installation point.

The network connection is provided through the RJ45 Ethernet port, while power is supplied through the USB-C output at 5V DC.

This means that only a single Ethernet cable needs to be routed to the connected device.
