Wireless connection of multiple smoke detectors - Thanks to the wireless function of the smoke detector, you can connect up to 15 detectors of the same series wirelessly. If one of the interconnected smoke detectors goes off, it will alert the entire network. This ensures that all people in the house are alerted, even across multiple floors and distances. The wireless range is 20 meters, allowing you to install your detectors flexibly.

Practical mute function when frying food - The smoke detector triggers an alarm of 85 dB in case of smoke development. If the smoke detector has detected smoke and switched to alarm mode, you can mute the alarm for about 10 minutes by pressing the test button. This is particularly useful if the detector was accidentally triggered while cooking. For example, you can finish frying your burgers in peace without being accompanied by a constant signal tone. After that, the detector switches back to normal operating mode.

Manual and automatic testing function for your personal safety - Every 30 - 40 seconds, the smoke detector performs an automatic function test. You can recognize this by the flashing LED light. However, you can also manually check its function at any time. For this, you can use the test function. We recommend testing the smoke detector manually at least once every 3 months.

Acoustic and optical indication when the battery is depleted - The smoke detector checks the battery for you. As soon as the battery is depleted, the detector announces this with a recurring beep. Two AA batteries are included in the delivery for immediate use after purchase.

Compatible with Sonoff RF BridgeR2 with Tasmota: With the help of the Sonoff RF BridgeR2, you can easily integrate your smoke detectors into your smart home system and make them smart. The RF Bridge is capable of recognizing the RF codes during an alarm trigger and forwarding them via MQTT. Through this integration, you can seamlessly incorporate your smoke detectors into your smart home setup and benefit from the advantages of a connected system.

Functionality of the smoke detectors: The smoke detectors emit an alarm signal in case of an emergency. Each smoke detector has a unique code that can be received by the Sonoff RF Bridge and processed via MQTT.

Obtaining the smoke detector code: To obtain the code of a smoke detector in the Sonoff RF Bridge, simply press the test button on the smoke detector for 5 seconds to simulate an alarm. This will make the code visible in the web GUI of the RF Bridge. Once you have obtained the code of the corresponding smoke detector, you can process it via MQTT as desired. (Note: The smoke detectors only send a code in case of an alarm, not when the battery status is low.)

Compatible with Home Assistant: The RF Bridge connects to Home Assistant via MQTT and sends the recognized RF codes to the MQTT broker of your Home Assistant system. In the configuration.yaml, you create MQTT binary sensors, give them a name, and assign them the corresponding RF code. These manually created sensors can be displayed on the dashboard, allowing you to create further automations.
