Zigbee Power Meter with bidirectional energy data collection

The device operates in a single-phase 100–240 V AC power grid and can transmit measurement data for circuits up to 16 A and 3840 W. It measures the mains voltage, current, instantaneous power, and energy consumption. It does not have a switching relay, so the power supply of the connected circuit cannot be interrupted.

Energy Monitoring

Real-time energy monitoring: The device measures the instantaneous voltage, current, and power as well as total energy consumption.

Bidirectional energy data collection: Energy drawn from the grid and energy transmitted in the opposite direction are recorded separately.

Energy History: The eWeLink app displays historical energy data in hourly, daily, and monthly views.

Energy Data Export: Recorded consumption and production data can be exported for further processing.

Electricity Cost Calculation: Supports both fixed unit prices and time-based tariffs linked to different times of the day.

Zigbee Communication

Zigbee 3.0: The device uses IEEE 802.15.4-based wireless communication. A compatible Zigbee gateway or coordinator is required.

Zigbee Router Function: The mains-powered module forwards traffic from other Zigbee devices within the mesh network.

Turbo Mode: Increased Zigbee transmission power can significantly extend communication range.

eWeLink: With a compatible SONOFF Zigbee gateway, measurement data, energy history, tariff settings, notifications, and automation conditions are available.

Home Assistant: Can be connected to a local smart home system via Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA integration.

Zigbee2MQTT: Supports voltage, current, power, and energy data, bidirectional energy meters, and multiple configuration parameters.

Samsung SmartThings: Can be used with a compatible SmartThings or Aeotec Zigbee hub.

Amazon Alexa and Google Home: Can be integrated with compatible Alexa devices and Google Home via cloud account linking.

Matter Bridge: Can be integrated into Matter systems via a compatible SONOFF Matter Bridge.

Maintenance Reminder: The system can sum the operating time above a configured power threshold and send a notification when the specified duration is reached.
